Well it seems that I’ve been turned loose to indulge my lascivious side this morning. Given the season, Victoria’s Secret is having a swimwear sale. Furthermore it has been asked of me what my *ahem* tastes and perspective are in regards to this year’s swim line. So in the sheer interest of duty, I’ve perused the offerings looking for a variety of styles that I find appealing. I know, no need to say it, I am indeed a saint.

Not everyone wants to rock a bikini. Personally I don’t want everyone to go the bikini route. No I’m not being snarky. Actually my tastes just usually fall firmly in the less in more category. I find tasteful balance of modesty and skin to be infinitely more sexy most of the time. The point being that if I see someone cruising around in a suit like this, likely I would have a hard time keeping my eyes off of them. I’m sure the push up, “crafting the cleavage” (to use the catalog parlance) doesn’t inhibit all of my creepy staring either. So when it comes to bikinis I am a big, big fan of fun retro stylings. I really like the cut of the top and the polka dots, however it also comes in stripes of blue or yellow, which would also be pretty cool. Though I must admit (taking the focus off the upstairs for once) what I really like here are the bottoms. I just really like boy-cut shorts on a gal. Remember what I was saying with regards to less is more? Yes when it comes to me and my tastes (something you are very concerned with, I am sure) I would take shorts cut in this style over slinky strings, or god forbid, a thong any day of the week. They just do something for me. Made from imported nylon/Lycra spandex. Top and bottoms sold separately to the tune of $6.99 apiece.
