I was thinking about gifts that significant others have given me, and I realized that no boyfriend has ever given me jewelry! It’s surprising because jewelry is such a traditional and conventional gift. Now flowers: I’ve received many many bouquets of red roses, yellow roses, tulips, etc. Most of my gifts have been more practical and fun: designer sunglasses, athletic I’m not a very traditional or Hallmark holiday girl, but I think that I would actually like to be surprised with jewelry.
