You probably remember that Circuit City declared bankruptcy and liquidated its assets in early 2009. Before closing its last store in early March, Circuit City offered amazing deals on its entire inventory.
Circuit City’s bankruptcy was very public and difficult to oversee. Circuit City was all over the news, and every location had a huge “store closing” billboard.
What’s not so public knowledge is Circuit City’s comeback. In May of this year, Systemax took ownership of the “Circuit City” brand. If you visit Circuit City’s homepage, you’ll see that it is a full-fledged online retailer with some great deals.
Deal hunters: Don’t forget to check out Circuit City online for your Black Friday and holiday shopping.
If you’d like a head start on your Black Friday deals, Circuit City is offering $30 off the Samsung 943SWX 19″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. The monitor features fast response time and a high resolution at 1360 x 768. It is very slim and features a power saving system. Best of all, its $119 price includes a 36 month warranty.

With the Dell Inspiron 15z, you don’t need to sacrifice performance for portability. These laptops are among the lightest and slimmest at 1-inch thin and 4.8 lbs. Featuring a low voltage and high power processor, a 6-cell battery gets you up to 8 hours of continuous use. You can enjoy your music, pictures, movies, and web surfing anytime and anywhere. The Inspiron 15z starts at $599.
Whether you are a student, teacher, or working professional, the Inspiron 15z easily travels by your side as a companion that you just can’t do without.I’m a recent college grad who’s been looking for the perfect ultraportable for about a year. I take my laptop everywhere, and I’m always working on a project of some sort. I’ve looked at about a hundred laptops, and none of them compare to the Dell Inspiron 15z.Other laptops make huge sacrifices to be portable. If you’re like me, you probably don’t want a laptop with limitations. You can’t afford to lose functionality by making cuts to your hard drive space, video capabilities, processor power, or memory. Some portables lack an optical drive, which means that you need to carry around an external optical drive. Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of an ultraportable?Dell’s Inpirson 15z redefines mobility with
- A 15.6″ High-def display
- Up to 500 GB in hard drive space with 7200 RPM
- A built-in 7-in-1 media card reader
- A 1.3 MP Integrated Webcam with Dual Digital Array Microphones
- Genuine WIndows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
- An Intel Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processor
Believe it or not, with the Dell Inspiron 15z, you can have everything: portability, power, functionality, an attractive design, and more. I wish these laptops were around when I was in college! The Inspiron 15z starts at $599. For more offers from Dell, click here. |

The new HP Envy 13 series surely doesn’t seem to be hiding the fact that it was inspired into existence by the MacBook Air. It looks like a MacBook. It feels like a MacBook —aluminum body, chiclet keys, even a buttonless trackpad. That’s okay though, because many could argue that HP has brought forth a machine that is better than that which inspired it.
The Envy 13 is just a shade larger than the MacBook Air, at .8-inches thin and 3.74 pounds versus .76 inches thick and 3 pounds. However it’s screen, framed by the same style glossy black bezel as the unibody MacBook family, is absolutely stunning and brighter and clearer than those you will find in the MacBook line.
The ENVY 13 is optimized for world-class performance, with an ultra low voltage Intel Core Duo processor and switchable ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics, running on the new Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS. You have your choice between a 250 GB conventional hard drive or a 160 GB solid state drive. The battery is pretty neat, its removeable battery promises 7 hours of battery life, however its add-on extra battery magnetically clips to the bottom of the notebook to make it look like it is part of the actual build. HP promises 18 hours of juice with that thing clipped on.
Prices for the HP Envy 13 start at $1,699.99. Before you buy come check out all the available HP coupons, it is sure to be worth your while!

There was a time when it came to networking or branding one’s business that the “business card” was de riguer. You had to have one, or else others simply would not take you seriously. These days there are many who would argue that printing one’s company name, logo, and contact info on a little card (or calendar, mug or whatever else) is outdated and obsolete. After all, there is an iPhone app put there that will allow two people to trade contact info simply by bumping there two iPhones together! Who needs a silly little card? I would argue however, that that line of thought is shooting oneself in the foot.
You see no matter how important the web and smartphones are to some people, there are just as many out there who relish are more old school approach. Yes, there are probably many a 25 year old out there who consider the business card to be a dinosaur relic. However there are many a 45 or 55 year old who don’t, and I’m sorry but it’s usually the 45 and 55 year olds who have the money.
Think about it this way: when trying to network with someone for the first time are you really going to force them to go through the annoying step of tip tapping your contact info into their phone rather than just handing them a card? Let’s assume they actually follow through in doing so, are they going to remember who Joe Blow is when they scan their phone’s address book three weeks later? There is a good chance they won’t. However if they see that card, with the company name and logo, they will know exactly who you are!
Having personal or company promotional items printed up isn’t even expensive. The cost is actually beyond reasonable, it’s nominal. The price is just a fraction of what it was even just a few years ago due to technological advancement. Using these Vistaprint coupon codes, which offer 50% off of most products, and the price gets even better!
Networking and building a brand is about getting one’s name out there, in as many ways possible. As for the discussion as to whether business cards are obsolete, well they will only be obsolete when nobody asks for them any more. We haven’t reached that point yet. Not by a long shot.

Servers are basically specialized PCs, and they run the gamut of speeds and capacities just as desktop workstations do. Nevertheless, they are a breed apart, designed to be secure (to protect your valuable company data) and fault-tolerant (to be available continuously). Servers also offer remote-management tools, so that an IT person can log in from a desk or workstation and check usage, diagnose problems, and perform routine maintenance such as adding new users or changing passwords.
As a small business grows to about 10 employees and beyond, they will most likely face the need to buy a server. Servers are most commonly used as central file repositories where users can easily share documents, but they can do many other tasks as well–from print and mail serving to performing system-wide backups. Other key applications include hosting databases, running groupware (such as calendar programs and customer relationship management software), and serving a company Web site or intranet. For creative studios or departments, a server might hold large image, video, and music libraries.
Dell’s entry lever server, the PowerEdge T100 is a fine choice for any small business jumping into these waters. Configuration prices start at only $699. This will get you a Dual Core Intel Pentium 2.70GHz processor, 4 GB of memory and two seprate 160 GB hard drvies. Of course the machine is fully configurable, so if this is not enought you may opt for some beefier specs.
The true beauty of this machine however is the price. That is the price once we throw in the Dell Small Business coupons. Use coupon code S?BFL7J3VL6$B7 at checkout to get the Dell PowerEdge T100 for $407 off!
Yes that’s right you can find this machine for only $279 at Dell Small Business!
Now this is a deal that certainly no small business can sneeze at!

Victoria’s Secret has just announced that supermodel Marisa Miller will don a $3 million diamond-studded “Fantasy bra” created by Damiani at the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show .
Marisa tells People magazine, “It is an enormous honor to wear the Fantasy bra. It’s one of the main features in the Fashion Show every year and I’m so excited to walk the runway in it.”
“The diamonds are in a harlequin pattern and contain white, champagne and cognac colored diamonds. There is also a 16-carat heart shaped champagne diamond pendant dangling in the middle.”
Well I luckily for women out there who are not Marissa Miller, that Victoria’s Secret is keeping up another tradition. This being the offer of equally gorgeous, yet admittedly less ostentatious, bras at a nice discount during their Fall/Winter Sale.
Dream Angels Demi Bra - Get caressed with a cushioned lining that gently conforms to your curves for a flawless fit now in shimmer or cross-dyed lace. Lightly lined underwire cups, back closure, adjustable straps and contoured shaping. (Price $48)
Make sure to check out these Victoria’s Secret Online Discounts! Find $15 off orders over $100, $30 off of $150, $75 off $250 and $150 off of $500 by using code FALL09 at checkout!

I’ve known several women throughout the years who have claimed that they do not like receiving flowers as gifts. They tell me that flowers die, that it is an outdated sensibility, that it’s corny. I’m here to tell you, that I have NEVER seen someone receive a floral delivery at their home or office, who were not absolutely beaming as they took that arrangement in hand.
Sending a floral arrangement is something simple and pure. This is a gift that tells someone that you were thinking of them and you want to let them know that. A very simple sentiment, everyone likes to feel cared for and thought after.
Sending an arrangement couldn’t be easier. You certainly don’t need to sweat and struggle to find a florist storefront to rush into during your lunch break. Just order online and have them delivered!
One of the best online floral stores that I have found is 1-800-FLOWERS. This site is perfect for those on the go. You can telephone them from anywhere or online, and place an order for same-day flower delivery anywhere in the country.
Take a look at this fun Halloween gift package from 1-800-FLOWERS
Scaredy Cat Tower
Halloween is almost here. Surprise your family with this 5-box Halloween tower that’s filled with goodies like chewy black licorice whips, crunchy ghost cookies, The Popcorn Factory® Halloween tinted black and orange kettle popcorn, sweet sugared jelly pumpkins and tangy tangerine candy corn - a delicious taste twist.
Price $29.99
This is especially true once you take into account all the great 1-800-FLOWERS coupons that are available. This week 1-800-FLOWERS is offering free shipping or no service charge!

I am of the firm opinion that one of the coolest parties a person can throw, and if one plays their card right, memorable, is the Halloween party. Heck one doesn’t even need the lucky draw of a straight flush to make this party come off right. The fun is ready made!
Setting the mood with ghoulish sound effects and fun Halloween music. Dim lighting and a house strewn with images of ghosts, skeletons, witches and macabre creatures. Preparing food that resemble body parts of humans like fingers, ears, heart, eyeballs, bones, skulls, nose and tongue, using spooky and gross name for your recipes. Throwing a party for a holiday that screams (it is Halloween after all) for over-the-top decorative design, with everyone in costume…it seems to me that the party is almost handed to everyone on a silver platter.
Just think about how much fun you can have with the preparation and decoration alone. There are so many neat little elements available that can set the mood. Check out this new assortment of wine & party accessories from Wine Enthusiast.

Bats About ‘U’ Etched Tumblers (Set of 2)
The Halloween spirit soars with every sip! That’s because we all share something in common with our little winged friends—we’re batty about “the red stuff”. Wine, that is! These mouth-blown tumblers feature a bevy of etched bats, the perfect tribute for wine lovers who savor Allhallows Eve. Specially shaped to bring out the full flavor and bouquet of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and other red wines. Also perfect for any other potion you wish to serve, punch to pop! From of our best-selling line of holiday-themed U glasses. Lead-free crystal collectibles available only at Wine Enthusiast. Dishwasher safe. $19.95 $14.99

Skull Swizzle Sticks (Set of 12)
The headiest way to cause a stir! It’s not an exciting Halloween cocktail till you add the finishing touch—a swizzle stick topped with a grinning skull. How many stirrers make serving Devil’s Punch a dead-on delight or Black Martinis a monster good time? Only these! Hand-painted resin skulls with clear beverage-safe sticks. Hand wash. $19.95
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year so there are no excuses, and since it is Halloween, there will be no remorse! Find the best Halloween coupons here, and scare up a good time!
