With the Dell Inspiron 15z, you don’t need to sacrifice performance for portability. These laptops are among the lightest and slimmest at 1-inch thin and 4.8 lbs. Featuring a low voltage and high power processor, a 6-cell battery gets you up to 8 hours of continuous use. You can enjoy your music, pictures, movies, and web surfing anytime and anywhere. The Inspiron 15z starts at $599. Whether you are a student, teacher, or working professional, the Inspiron 15z easily travels by your side as a companion that you just can’t do without.I’m a recent college grad who’s been looking for the perfect ultraportable for about a year. I take my laptop everywhere, and I’m always working on a project of some sort. I’ve looked at about a hundred laptops, and none of them compare to the Dell Inspiron 15z.Other laptops make huge sacrifices to be portable. If you’re like me, you probably don’t want a laptop with limitations. You can’t afford to lose functionality by making cuts to your hard drive space, video capabilities, processor power, or memory. Some portables lack an optical drive, which means that you need to carry around an external optical drive. Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of an ultraportable?Dell’s Inpirson 15z redefines mobility with
- A 15.6″ High-def display
- Up to 500 GB in hard drive space with 7200 RPM
- A built-in 7-in-1 media card reader
- A 1.3 MP Integrated Webcam with Dual Digital Array Microphones
- Genuine WIndows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
- An Intel Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processor
Believe it or not, with the Dell Inspiron 15z, you can have everything: portability, power, functionality, an attractive design, and more. I wish these laptops were around when I was in college! The Inspiron 15z starts at $599. For more offers from Dell, click here. |

The new HP Envy 13 series surely doesn’t seem to be hiding the fact that it was inspired into existence by the MacBook Air. It looks like a MacBook. It feels like a MacBook —aluminum body, chiclet keys, even a buttonless trackpad. That’s okay though, because many could argue that HP has brought forth a machine that is better than that which inspired it.
The Envy 13 is just a shade larger than the MacBook Air, at .8-inches thin and 3.74 pounds versus .76 inches thick and 3 pounds. However it’s screen, framed by the same style glossy black bezel as the unibody MacBook family, is absolutely stunning and brighter and clearer than those you will find in the MacBook line.
The ENVY 13 is optimized for world-class performance, with an ultra low voltage Intel Core Duo processor and switchable ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics, running on the new Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS. You have your choice between a 250 GB conventional hard drive or a 160 GB solid state drive. The battery is pretty neat, its removeable battery promises 7 hours of battery life, however its add-on extra battery magnetically clips to the bottom of the notebook to make it look like it is part of the actual build. HP promises 18 hours of juice with that thing clipped on.
Prices for the HP Envy 13 start at $1,699.99. Before you buy come check out all the available HP coupons, it is sure to be worth your while!

The HP HDX16t Premium laptop series is a class of machine that really does represent the dawn of laptops doubling as high-definition home theaters. Not only is it designed to fit into a living room or home office, but the fast Intel Centrino 2 parts will keep it from becoming a relic overnight. Want premium, innovative entertainment? This is most definitely the system for you!
The HDX16t carries a vividly bright ultrawide display with 1080p and 16:9 viewing aspect ration. This screen belongs to a new breed moving from a 16:10 to a 16:9 aspect ratio, as is common with HDTVs and films. Coupled with web cam, home theater quality audio, a built in TV tuner, Blu Ray and advanced graphic, as I mentioned earlier, this machine is all about handling your entertainment needs.
The processor is a customizable option, like much of the machine. You have your choice of an 2.2 GHz Intel Core Duo, through the range all the way up to a 3.06 GHz configuration. HP base RAM configurations start at 3GB, but currently they are offering their customers a free upgrade to 4GB of memory! You also have your choice to maximize your RAM up to 8GB! Harddrives come in 250, 320 and 500 GB flavors. HP is also offering a free upgrade in this department to 320 GB!
Sounds great doesn’t it? I must admit to a little touch of drool as I write this! Take a look at our HP Coupon codes, there are some really fantastic offers available right now. By using code NBLX2380 you will get an amazing price break of $500 off of HDX16t configurations priced over $1299!
Remember, purchasing this machine now from HP qualifies you for a free Windows 7 upgrade upon its release in October!

I know quite a few people who have avoided purchasing a much needed laptop because of the over hyped failures of the Windows Vista operating system. I say over hyped because in my humble opinion they have been just that. I know quite well that upon initial release two years ago that the Vista OS was squeezed on to architecture by manufacturers that was not equipped to handle it. However this really has not been the case for over a year now, and Microsoft has subsequently released two Vista OS service packs to clean up the threads they left hanging in the first version.
Well now this is neither here nor there, the release date for Windows 7 is just around the corner in later October! I have been using it myself, finding an advance copy, for about a month now. I really like it. In fact since I installed Windows 7 there is absolutely no such thing as Apple OS X envy in my life, Ha Ha!
Now I know many of you that have been milking the last life out of an old machine, can’t wait until next month so you can purchase a new machine with Microsoft’s shiny new OS installed. You may find this a little hard to believe, but it may not behoove you to wait. The reason being that we have many Dell coupons offering fantastic savings, but expire on October 1. Several of these machines while they will ship with Vista, are eligible for a free Windows 7 upgrade as soon as it is released!
Take the Dell Studio 15 for example. This multimedia platform is Dell’s most popular laptop, and until October 1 you can find the Studio 15 fully loaded for a mere $699! The Studio 15 can be purchased in seven different colors, and comes outfitted with a 2.0 GHZ Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 15.6″ HD display with a camera, and a 500 GB hard drive!
You can find all of our Dell coupon codes here, and think about it. Don’t think too long though! Strike while the iron is hot! These deals end very, very soon!

Last week was pivotal point for me. I had finally come to that crossroads in my life where I had to do something about the harddrive on my laptop which was filled to capacity. These files were primarily music and video (that which I hold closest to my heart). I tried burning large portions of the library to disc but found that would take way too long for my tastes. No what I needed was an external harddrive. This task has been knawing at my conscious for a long time, but for some unearthly reason I keep procrastinating. Well the situation was dire now, so the bull would know be taken by the proverbial horns.
I checked out Office Depot for online tech reviews and this was their ‘editors choice’: the Transcend StoreJet 25F
While other external hard drives offer built-in backup software, automatic data encryption, or rugged casing protection, the Transcend StoreJet 25F not only promises, but delivers, the fastest data transfers at the lowest price. Transcend’s StoreJet 25 mobile is compact and portable, with measurements of only 134 mm by 80.8 mm by 18.8 mm. Weighing in at just 206g, the StoreJet 25 mobile is easy for users to conveniently carry around.Transcend’s StoreJet 25 mobile features advanced dual stage anti-shock technology and meets strict U.S.military drop-test standards to help protect your data against accidental bumps or falls. The capacity is 320GB and the price is $91.95.
It doesn’t end there however, with Office Depot coupons offering $15 off any order over $75 that sounds like this will run (if I’m doing my math correctly) a smooth $76.95!

Netbooks, also known as mini laptops, are more than popular. They are the latest must-have. And it’s easy to see why everyone wants one. They are a breeze to use. They look cool. They are so light compared to larger laptops–you’ll barely know you’re carrying one. The IdeaPad S12 is perfect for basic computing, email, internet and even video messaging. For netbook makers, the first instinct is to vie for the lowest prices, but they are bound by what’s considered the norm for netbooks—a 10-inch screen, an undersized keyboard, and minimal features. There are only a handful of netbooks that push beyond these boundaries in an effort to draw in the discerning netbook users—if there’s such a group. The Lenovo Ideapad S12 is arguably the best 12-inch netbook available.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad S12 promises to be the first netbook that can seriously handle high-def tasks, with a 12.1″ display and the ability to play back 1080p content in “silky smooth” fashion. As if that weren’t enough, Lenovo also made sure to bless this machine with a 100% full size keyboard, something that’s extraordinarily rare on netbooks. In fact, we’d say the tight, often misshaped keyboards are the worst attributes on netbooks. With this machine, it’s just like typing on any standard 15.4″ notebook. Nice touch, Lenovo. I would even go so far to say that the HD display, superb keyboard and ExpressCard slot are downright sophisticated when speaking of any machine that plays in the netbook sandbox.
With the S12 you will find a 160 GB harddrive, 1 GB of RAM and a Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHZ single-core processor. Don’t forget about those fantastic Nvidea Ion graphics that will provide the horsepower and support high definition media and many games that lower cost PC’s often won’t.
S12 configurations start at $499 and let me tell you, with this much under the hood that is not a lot to ask at all. Experience the benefits to be found in a full size laptop with fraction of the bulk. Find your Lenovo coupons here and enjoy!

From all that I’ve read lately concerning tech trends, the netbook market, those low cost, ultra portable notebooks are the only computing product segment that are truly gaining speed. With the telephone companies getting into the game, offering huge discounts on price when you sign to a 2 year data contract (just like with a mobile phone), I’m sure this trend will only grow.
Inexpensive and portable netbooks appeal to a wide audience, from businesspeople who travel frequently, to kids and home users looking for a small laptop to carry from room to room, to book-laden students who spend long hours on campus. It’s easy enough to tell a netbook from other laptops, but the differences between one netbook and the next are getting fewer and fewer. They generally have 8-to-10-inch widescreens and lack built-in optical drives. None have full-size keyboards—they usually range from 89 percent to 93 percent of full size—so expect a more cramped typing experience than with a mainstream laptop. You will find an abundance of USB ports, a webcam, a card reader, and built-in Wi-Fi. Some even have bonus features like ExpressCard slots, Bluetooth, and options for cellular modems. Most every netbook has adopted the Intel Atom platform, made up of the Atom processor, integrated graphics, and 512MB to 1GB of RAM.
I noticed a very good special the Dell is offering this morning concerning netbooks. Dell Coupon Codes that offer 15% off on Dell Mini 10 and Mini 10v netbooks priced over $459. Just enter code ?$HD8SFZQW2GBQ at checkout and you’re golden.
The Mini 10 and Mini 10v come in a few different flavors, but all of them offer everything you want in a mobile companion and more. They may be small, but you’ll be surprised by all the fun features packed inside.

Dell Mini 10v Like most netbooks these days the 10v comes with the Intel Atom processor and the Windows XP operating system. It weighs in at 2.5 pounds with a 10.1 inch glossy LED display and a keyboard that is 92% the size of a regular laptop. It comes standard with 1GB of RAM and you have the option of a 160GB SATA harddrive or a 16GB Solid State. Prices for the Mini 10v can be as low as $299.

Dell Mini 10 This is the more deluxe cousin. They do share some commonalities such as the Atom processor, 1GB of Ram and Windows XP. The weight is basically the same with the Mini 10 weighing in at just one ounce heavier at 2.6 pounds. The screen size is the same 10.1 inches, however with the Mini 10 you ave the option of upgrading the resolution to HD. With the Mini 10 you have your choice between 250GB SATA harddrive or a 64 GB Solid State. The Mini 10 also offers GPS! Now that is a nice option. Prices for the Mini 10 start at $349

Summer travels, a good chunk of my friends are gearing up for, just returning from, or in the middle of their own. I’m looking upon them with a bit of jealousy. I would like to go somewhere, but I can’t…this being “new baby summer”. Ah well, I do believe I have the more exciting adventure on my plate.
While observing everyone running hither and yon the past several weeks I’ve noticed that people seem really into roadtripping and bare bones travel this year. It seems to be a fairly prevalent phenomenon. Prevalent enough to acquire it’s own marketing term. “Flashpacking”. Traveling with more flash than cash. This little buzzword is on the lips of all the travel writers this summer.
The first question on many travelers’ lips may well be: What is flashpacking? Who are these mysterious flashpackers? Many flashpackers are actually just the growing number of ‘techno-travelers’ out there. They’ve got iPods and digital cameras. They’re traveling with their laptops. They want to blog and broadcast live video streams of their travel experiences, so they need free WiFi at their hostel.
While technology is a key element of flashpacking, though, it’s not the whole picture, by any means. A flashpacker is essentially just the usual backpacker or independent traveler, looking for something a bit more upmarket from their digs. They want all the flexibility of the independent traveler – the unfixed itinerary which allows you to think on your feet and go wherever the fancy takes you – yet they also want (just a little!) of the look and feel of a boutique hotel.
Yet they don’t want your standard budget hotel: rather, they’re after the advantages of a good, old-fashioned cheap hostel, with just a bit more, well, luxury. Even the most hardcore backpackers among us can do with a bit of luxury from time to time. It’s okay we won’t judge you for not wanting to spend a month eating bugs in the Outback. I’ll even help you out to find those nice but affordable digs…I’ve got some Orbitz coupons with your name on them right here.
