More signs of the seasonal shift: I was actually cold last night. It’s been so warm here in the Los Angeles area for so long, I found it kind of hard to believe. Now bear in mind it wasn’t truly cold, merely chilly. However it does seem at long last that I have lost all of the arctic level resilience that I previously cultivated in my years living east of the Mississippi.

Another sign of Autumn: I visit the Old Navy website today to keep an eye on their recent goings-on, and find that what’s happening is The Sweater Event. This is a huge sale on cozy looks for Fall, with styles starting at $15! The Sweater Event has come, in my humble opinion, not a moment too soon. Though I often promote the idea of buying in advance to all of you, in order to get the absolute best deals, I quite often do not follow my own advice. Meaning that it is not uncommon for me to buy warmer clothes until I spend a few uncomfortably cold evenings realizing I am not outfitted properly.
