Last week my Mother-in-Law was over at our house to hang out with my wife and our baby. While they were giving the little one a bath, I stepped out to do the week’s grocery shopping. While I was leaving the store, for some reason I stopped in on the florist on the corner. On impulse I bought each of them a bouquet of roses. I brought them back for the ladies with the statement “Just to let you both know how much I appreciate you”. I know bragging about this sort of spoils my “good guy” image, but I’m just saying: a few flowers can go a long way in brightening someones day.

Is it just me or is there a surplus of March birthdays? Seems like every other day I am getting an Evite or an RSVP card to one shindig or another. Not complaining, just seemed odd.

Guess you can say that I am a pretty regular guy, I am a last minute, bargain shopper but I do try my best to do a creative spin to my gifts. New lows in iPhone apps folks! Zit picker application, really?! My guess is the same people who would pay to play at poppin’ zits are the same folks who have a face full of puss craters due to lack of fresh air and sunshine. “I am just saying, if the nerd glasses fit….”
To quote the lads at Gizmodo: “You pick zits with multitouch here. It’s vile, and I wish nothing but failure for this app.”
