When I was very young I always thought that Wham-O made some of the best toys, especially their water toys. I was especially into the Slip ‘N Slide, and I was so jealous of our neighbors because they had one and I didn’t. Yes I did get the chance fairly often to go next door and enjoy it, but it was theirs and not mine! Heck I even remember trying to copy the effects with a roll of plastic garbage bags and a hose in my backyard with my sister. That little experiment did not work out as well as you might think. I spoke to a friend about it later on in life and she informed me that the trick to the home-made version is adding some Palmolive so you don’t stick to the plastic. Ha! Just FYI.

Look what years of evolution has turned the Wham-O Slip ‘N Slide into…the Wham-O Slip ‘N Slide Triple Racer. A three column (for racing) masterpiece with built in boogies, and a waterfall bumper at the end of the line! It’s very cool to see that Wham-O hasn’t lost any of it’s edge! I would have loved this. Actually I would probably still love it, though I’d probably be too heavy (darn it!). A toy like this could easily be your child’s favorite summer pastime. Heck this could also perhaps be your favorite as well, because it’s cheap, cheap, cheap! Only cost $29.97! Over the top, backyard water slide fun for under $30, how can you beat that?
