My apartment has limited counter space in the kitchen vicinity. Plus it is literally a 1920’s home split into four comfy apartments. The bothersome part is there is a total shortage of viable electric outlets! I love the character and old world charm it exudes what with the crown molding and solid walls, but ask me why there is literally only one electrical outlet per room. Lord, if I plugged in even one more thing in the living room I think it would short circuit the house.

So recently I had some guests over and wouldn’t you know it, Martha Stewart possessed my being and I wanted to bake! I have this fancy pants counter hogging mixer that I leave in storage now. I was thinking of buying a hand mixer for quick fixes and so that it doesn’t take up so much room in the kitchen.
